Taxonomy Browse

Browse offers searches on family, genus, species, or common name. Note that common names are only associated with genera and species. You can select what kind of results you want – family, genus, species, or a combination.

The search results are shown on the results tab. Your search terms can be viewed by clicking the Click to display query parameters link. Results are presented in a table, which can be filtered to show just accepted names or to exclude lower ranks. The table can be exported as an Excel or csv file. Each column of data can be sorted, and you can search within the results to quickly find an individual record.
